Several vendors at the Pennsylvania Farm Show have been asked to stop selling merchandise adorned with the Confederate flag.
The vendors were selling items such as t-shirts, belt buckles and hats with the flags at the show which runs through Jan. 16 at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center in Harrisburg.
"All told, seven vendors that were selling items with the flag displayed were brought to our attention. Upon request, seven vendors removed the items of concern, and we certainly appreciate their cooperation and understanding," said Brandi Hunter-Davenport, a spokeswoman for the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture via an email statement.

"Items such as the Confederate flag are not in keeping with the spirit and theme of inclusiveness we're trying to promote. In fact, it's the antithesis of that theme," Hunter-Davenport added.

Wearing unearned medal is free speech.
Wearing a confederate flag isn’t
Who makes up these rules?
I doubt there were any blacks there (and if there were, I doubt they cared)...just New Yorkers, I suspect.
That’s okay no problem nothing really matters anymore this is a very good thing and has by leadership example the full approval of #BLM, the Congress, obama, Nikki Haley, Donald Trump (cast that flag out) and his supporters, as long as it makes some people feel good and doesn’t offend some peoples sensitivities, all those above leaders and their minions have proven you can be politically correct and not politically correct at the same time no problem, wide and varied contradictions no problem. /s
>>Wearing unearned medal is free speech.
So we invent a “Confederate Medal of Honor” that features the battle flag prominently. We can wear that and call it an unearned medal.
Speaking as a northern yankee, that flag has a different meaning above the Mason Dixon line than below it.
YES! I don’t think it went over well. There are LOTS of T-shirts printed with things like “Keep Calm and Carry Your Gun!” on them worn by vendors, crews and visitors.
PNC live coverage hasn’t been as good this year.
Except the southerners who are excluded.
Panty twists over a flag that Union soldiers didn’t mind having around after the fact.
Vendors who cave to panty twists.
Great society.
And I love the “inclusiveness”. So many black farmers in PA.
I was at a Hobby Lobby and they have an aisle for plastic model cars, planes, etc. that you put together.
They had a General Lee one, but the flag was removed from the roof. So basically it was just an orange car with “01” on the side.
It’s not just Southerners.
I watched a little of it and wasn’t impressed.
