That said, has there been any radical shifts in the Church? Not really. There’s no gaping shift ala Vatican II of a “Franciscan Church” era.

The Pope (like the POTUS) is a full blown Marxist who has nothing but contempt for free market capitalism and private property rights. And he has also fully signed on (as has the current POTUS) to the Left’s globull warming agenda which we all know is a scheme to destroy private industry, increase the power of government, and redistribute wealth.

Living under a strong-central Monarch with no chance of political recourse by an average citizen is a great system of justice. Look at all that degree of force a Pope could wield, lol.

BTW, TBEL was talking about political "radicalism", i.e. distribution of wealth by force through the government, anthropogenic global warming, etc. not Church dogma. A central monarch with the beliefs of Pope Francis would be disastrous.
