We have one grow light on our overwintering tomato plant in the living room. The kitchen table is in front of a slider, with two windows on either side of it. It would be nice to have skylights there, but this is a two story house. It would be difficult to set up grow lights there, but we have had success as is. I’m hoping that we will again.

I have good success in front of the patio sliding doors too. I usually add a grow light in late afternoon and into the evening to simulate summertime light.

I would have a light of some sort on anyway, so using the newer grow lights which use less electricity would be a good option.
