HEB started in Corpus Christi many years ago. HEB stands for Howard Edward Butt. Charles daddy. They lived on Ocean Drive in Corpus. 20 + years ago they moved their headquarters to San Antonio. I will never step foot in the store(s) again.
Hate to be a Net nanny, but the expression is “SET foot in” a place , not “step foot in” ... drives me crazy, like “HONE in on” (instead of correct “HOME in”), or “POUR over his books” not “pore over” which is correct.
