Watch all of ‘em obsess on the headline (which was over the top) and the venue (a bit on the establishment side) and simply ignore the substance of the article - which was what Trump said (again) - and which has absolutely nothing to do with a childish headline....or the website. TRUMP SAID IT.

They are ignoring it because it has no substance...it’s a “so what???” It wasn’t an indictment just a bit snarky..boils down to nothing. What Trump said was factual, it was the gentlest of slurs if it were even a slur. It might have been just a reaction to the way that Cruz has been stepping up his appeal to evangelicals. This hypersensitivity to veiled criticism seems weak not strong. Cruz is comfortable with who he is and is not threatened.
