They are ignoring it because it has no substance...it’s a “so what???” It wasn’t an indictment just a bit snarky..boils down to nothing. What Trump said was factual, it was the gentlest of slurs if it were even a slur. It might have been just a reaction to the way that Cruz has been stepping up his appeal to evangelicals. This hypersensitivity to veiled criticism seems weak not strong. Cruz is comfortable with who he is and is not threatened.
It’s not a game change, but it’s more than a “so what” - because this is a double down on a previous attack. This is going to get him in some hot water Monday with some radio hosts who have been worshipful to this point.
But credit to you, you did at least engage the conversation on the substance - and I always enjoy that. I do tire so of the lo info snarks based on a source made by those who don’t even read the damned piece.
He's out of his league. He is used to buying influence -- he practically brags about it. And folks, he bought his celebrity status. He doesn't need to sink much into his campaign because he's already invested about 10 years of media "personal brand" imaging. He puts a value on that "personal brand" of many billion. That should tell you something.
