Why would they use P-51's? When it comes to fuel these are really thirsty, and avgas is not in the $2 a gallon range.
Some guy with binoculars looked up and said Hey those are P-51’s, so based on this expert opinion, I have thought they were P-51 planes. They are too high for naked eye ID.
