Natalie Cole -- one of the great voices in decades -- has died ... TMZ has learned.
Cole, whose hits include "This Will Be" and "Unforgettable" which she performed as a virtual duet with dad Nat King Cole -- died from congestive heart failure, although we're told the underlying medical issues were complications from a kidney transplant and Hepatitis C.
Natalie had been very sick recently, cancelling several tour dates in late December including a New Year's Eve concert at Disney Hall in L.A. She also cancelled an upcoming February concert due to illness.
Natalie, who was married 3 times and has a son, was 65.

She performed at the casino in Washington PA near here last Fall. People who attended said she had an oxygen tank on stage with her and was obviously very frail.
RIP.
Very sad. I grew up surrounded by her father’s voice as my parents loved him. When I heard “unforgettable” for the first time it brought me back to my unrecognized love of his music and a new-found appreciation of her. RIP Ms. Cole.
Saw her years ago in a Touched by an Angel episode. Didn’t know who she was, but I noticed her simply because she was such a great actress. I was telling myself that she was GOOD! I paid attention to the credits and saw that “she” was Ms Cole. Always held her in higher respect after that.
65 is way too young to go. She had a beautiful voice.
Lemmy died as did one of the Easybeats, one of the Specials, and Joe Houston, all late in 2015. Someone else needs a January timestamp.
She went to the same Catholic grammar school that I went to. We were in different classes. She was a good girl at school. R.I.P.
That may not be good for her estate. What new laws kicked in today?
Her father died young too. 45 I think. Both great talents.
You may be right. I saw the Stones this past summer. Keith looked, as always, like death warmed over. But he could still play.
I first became a fan of hers when I heard her hit song: MR. MELODY.

As for her duet with her father, this is my personal favorite: WHEN I FALL IN LOVE.

Sad. Lovely voice; wonderful father.
She resisted doing her dadâs songs for years, wanting to make her own identity, but that album, as the article said, turned out to be her best seller.
Her uncle (Natâs brother), Freddie Cole, led the orchestra for that album, and he got as many of the original musicians from Natâs recordings back together as he possibly could.
We saw her at Wolf Trap a few years ago, and you should have seen the look on her face when it was time to do âUnforgettableâ and her dad came on the screen. Very touching.
Both of them are unforgettable, and I suspect that somewhere theyâre doing a duet.
Weâll miss Natalie.
Any word on the cause of death?

the duet she sung with her deceased father of “unforgettable” is one of my favorite songs of all time.
She indeed was her father’s daughter and a compliment to his life. We saw ad heard her at a ‘concert’ to honor her and father and present her to a new audience.
She did her father well!
that’s too bad, she was a great singer like her dad...I guess she didn’t take too good care of her health....
so, that’s 2 stars down, one more to go unfortunately...as they say, they die in threes...
