We have a whole house generator thats plumbed to natural gas line but its a last resort use. Mainly in hot summer when we need AC to sleep comfortable. A portable honda 1000 for minor needs yet wasn’t a need yet....

I wish that our generator ran on natural gas; the blasted thing runs on gasoline....which we have to refill every 6 hours or so. But without it, we wouldn't have any use of the poddies, because the well wouldn't work.

Thankfully, we don't have to use it a lot, but we have had power outages that have lasted more than 2 weeks. :-( I'm just hoping that this winter isn't anywhere near as bad as last year's was.
