North Fort Worth here. Didn’t realize we were under a tornado watch until my sister called me from Rhode Island. It is raining cats and dogs but the tornado threat has dissipated due to the cold front moving through dropping the temps almost 30 degrees.

Been there, done that.
A while ago Dallas dispatch said that 911 was down in several northeaster suburbs. As one point they were saying a large tornado was headed this way, but it either dissipated or veered to the east. Most of the Dallas traffic is dealing with street flooding.
Most of the damage would seem to either be just south of Dallas or to the Northeast.
Meanwhile, a blizzard of ‘historic proportions’ has been forecast for the Panhandle this weekend.
my daughter in law called and said she had to go get in the bathtub with her kids and said that the wind blew one of the bedroom windows out in her house. She's in Rowlett.
Listening to the ham radio repeater. Most of the current reports are from Rowlett.
Just got word of damage on Westmoreland Rd in Glenn Heights.
Power lines and transformers down in several places.
Looks like Ellis County net going down until tomorrow.
We had spectacular lightning but it all went east of us.
