Fortune reported that Ford stands to make more than $34 million for his return as Han Solo...hmmm - about 50 times what the little people in the film made - no doubt we'll soon be hearing cries of outrage and anguish from the likes of Bernie and Hillary who are dedicated to saving the middle class from the rape and greed of Wall Street and their overpaid and pampered private enterprise bosses......

I don't think he looked bad at all. He looked better than his age (71 or 72)? He looked fit and trim. And he certainly looked light years better than the frumpy/overweight Carie Fischer.

Hubby and I saw it yesterday. Both of us thought it was as stinker. 2 stars at best. Same old formula, similar plot, similar humor. Ford just too old looking he should have had some work done. If he was the father of a 20 something he should not have looked so old. Looked more like his grandfather. He really moved like an old guy in some of those fight scenes and they never bothered to get his hair to match from scene to scene. The new actors were pretty good.

I agree with you, though I’ll go 2.5 stars just for the fun my sons and I had with all the references. The “parsecs mistake” was great, if you know what I am referring to. (Trying not to spoil)

That move can’t be spoiled IMO. Also thought cheap rip off of LOTR (Gandalf) when Solo falls down the chasm, you know he’ll be back. And the female star, she was a good actress, kept reminding me of using the popularity of hunger games, female warrior hero and all that. Glad you and your sons had fun.

I'll say what those attached to the movie can't - Ford gets so much more because he's the only decent (not great) actor of the three. As evidenced by his career outside of Star Wars.

True, but the scene strongly suggests that Hamill will return in the next movie.
