Hillary Clinton may be planning to close a lot of schools. At a town hall event today in Keota, Iowa, Clinton said she would keep open "better than average" schools. "This school district and these schools throughout Iowa are doing a better than average job," Clinton told the crowd. "Now, I wouldn't keep any school open that wasn't doing a better than average job. If a school's not doing a good job, then you know it may not be good for the kids. "But when you have a district that's doing a good job it seems kind of counterproductive to impose financial burdens on it."

Where all the children are above average?
Of course, the word “open” is as flexible as the word “is.”
This average word! I do not think it means what you think it means Hildy.
School choice has been advocated for years Hillary to address school problems. You have not been in favor of that. Besides that, I thought school was a local institution. Another dictator in training I see.
The states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to tell the states how to run INTRAstate schools.
Jeez. After 4 years and cutting the number of schools in half each year, where are all those kids going to go?
Hey - Hillary for Homeschooling!!
Lake Wobegon?
So Clinton has no understanding of the normal curve.
Hell, women can’t do math
especially statistics.
Hillary is targeting the low-information (stupid) voters.
So schools will no longer be the in the purview of the village. shrillary, as supreme village idiot, believes that she would be a queen who could by royal fiat decree whether or not a school should remain open. What is it wit democrats and their belief in omnipotent power?
Garrison Keillor, please pick up the white courtesy phone. Garrison, Keillor, please...
Did she say that, or did she say, “I WOULDN’T KEEP ANY SCHOOL OPEN THAT WASN’T DOING A BETTER THAN AVERAGE JOB!”
If she shuts down the schools "below average", that will be an EPA-style moving target.
Let’s see, cut all below average schools, sending below average kids to above average schools. Bingo, all schools become average don’t they???
Yeah, math is HARD.
I’m guessin’ somewhere around 49%
Well, there IS a way to make it work: reduce all schools to exactly the same level of mediocrity.
Maybe it’s like “economic equality”.
But, ask her to fire just the bottom 1% of the federal workforce .... Hell To Pay!
