Criminals don’t love cops either. Same concept.
Trump is going to ruin their corruption machine.

My family has been Republican since Lincoln. But I swear, if Trump wins the nomination fair and square, and the Republican leadership doesn’t pull out all the stops to get him elected, I will never vote Republican again, and that’s from dog catcher on up. It’s just one measly vote, but I am confdent there will be plenty of others like me.

I thought Sasse was pointing out a double standard between what the Senate was letting Obama get away with versus what they would let a Republican get away with. This is The Hill’s spin and I wouldn’t trust them. Sasse is one of the better ones.

No Love for Trump Among GOP Senators Whew. This is good news! :-)

The latest sign came from Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.), who warned his colleagues against the dangers of a power-hungry executive branch on Thursday by invoking a hypothetical Trump administration. "Imagine President Trump has been propelled into the White House with 300 electoral votes having won by his personality and his promise to get things done by acting unilaterally," he said. "He signs an order that turns the Peace Corps into stonemasons to build the southern wall."Where has this guy been for the past seven years, living in a cave? What are you and your dunder-headed colleagues doing to stop a president who actually IS acting unilaterally, Mr. Sasse? Nothing, from what I can tell.

Notice, “Republican” senators, not “Conservative” senators.

I would love to see the first senator or senate candidate step out and support Trump! Poll through the roof I bet. Anybody that doesn’t support Trump should he win or win in a landslide I will not vote for!

BFD = I like Cruz though Trump is my first choice. As for endorsements I am quite capable of making my own decision.
