I need to take a drive by the place where Chick-fil-A is going to move into, so I can see if any progress is being made.
It’s really difficult to fly all the way to No Carolina, just to visit a Chick-fil-A with Tax-chick and the chicklets.
I put the thumb drive in, but the message was that there wasn’t enough room on the hard drive to handle it. I fiddled with whatever things I could reach and finally found a “reset and restore” feature, so I’m wiping the hard drive. Right now, it’s at 66%, and then I’m sure it will take an hour for the updates, if not longer.
That’s OK. I’m not going anywhere!
And I think that’s what caused the crash in the first place, but we will see. I think I hate Dell almost as much as HP.
So much for resetting it. It got to 66% ad now there is a message that says, “There was a problem resetting your PC.”
What now?
So I just sent them an email and gave them a choice of: 1) repair, B) replace or 3) refund.
Meanwhile, I boxed it back up again. In the email, I told them if they refunded the money, I would buy something besides a Dell. DANG! I sure wish I had opted for the Asus!
*sigh* This year is not starting out very well.
