Mark Levin opened his show tonight saying that he wouldn't have proposed what Donald Trump proposed on banning Muslims entering the US, but rather what Rand Paul proposed which was aimed at banning immigration from countries in the Middle East where radical Islam is a big problem.
Despite this, Levin says that Trump has opened the way for us to have a national discussion on Sharia Law and Islam, and that Trump's critics should embrace the discussion instead of piling on Trump.
And as a side note on this, to those candidates who are claiming that Trump's proposal is unconstitutional, Levin points out it has nothing to do with the Constitution. He says the bill of rights, more importantly the first amendment only applies to us here, not to people living abroad. Levin says we've always controlled our immigration and Trump's proposal falls in line with that.

“so I have my business to keep me busy, (and I used âArt of the Dealâ to make it) and I can say it works...and I’m almost done with the last quilt for a customer, 1 week early and under budget....”
I’m going to have to get the book now. I’m starting a new business, an online spice business, and hubby is starting a home inspection business.
Do you think ‘The Art of the Deal’ would help with those types of businesses?
....”banning immigration from countries in the Middle East where radical Islam is a big problem”....
Again even Levin doesn’t understand what Islam is.....they all hyphen it with “radical” or some other Western made up word that doesn’t exist in Islams vocabulary..... Muslims certainly understand the ‘military arm’ of their ideology system as they do the financial, educational and political arms of their ideology and others Islam consists of...... our politicians do not because they’re seeing Islam through the lens of being a Religion....it’s not.... and they need to stop viewing Islam that way because it
s enabling them to flourish in all countries in the Western world without the resistance needed to put it down!
.
Its something in the FreeRepublic water these days.
.
ROTFLOL!! That’s hysterical....hahahahahaha! Great comeback!
.
Trump is in the kids bedroom playing wack-a-mole while everyone else is playing poker.
.
What is the intended message of the image you posted?
That’s funny! He controls the narrative, everyone else acts like gnats attacking a bulldozer.
Trump sure does flip flop. First it was let Syrian muslim refugees in for humanitarian sake now its ban them muslims!!
Trumptets will support him even if he says he’ll make America Great....with Single Payer cause he can do it GREAT
.....”Never once did either of them (Cruz or Levin) mention the merits of Trump’s proposal”....
Emotional attachment to a candidate, as deeply as we often see Trumpeters, makes it impossible for them to view anyone in political conversation without it being seen through their starry eyes.
....”He controls the narrative”....
Well that is his campaign agenda....selling his Brand..... He’s been doing it for 30 years one way or another..... So I suspect much of the media and others are playing along to get along rather than face law suites and various other threats Trumps known for..and he’s clearly made this known throughout his campaign.
That’s pretty much the it of it.......and if he’s elected and the nation goes further down the tubes he’ll still be flaunting how Great he was for this nation, and giving excuses how “others” weren’t being fair...so he had “No choice”.
I can hear it now ....Trump will be saying....” I had no choice”...”this is how things are done, I’m sorry but that’s just the way it is”.... “You have to accept that”.... “YOU have to make compromises”..... While he spends his four years building the Trump Empire even bigger when he’s “inside” playing with all the other corrupt politicians and corporations in their crap shoot on the backs of the American people.
The reason Trump sometimes changes his position is because he’s a regular person and as he comes to understand an issue better he’s man enough to admit he was wrong and adjust accordingly. As opposed to bought and paid for politicians who CANNOT change their positions on anything because those positions have been bought and paid for already.
The President of the United States is NOT an entry level position that affords the time nor risks of a man who sees it as a first stop in becoming a politician.
... To even imagine that a complete novice, with sufficient celebrity popularity and enough money, can succeed at ‘the job’ is ludicrous....and highly risky in the state of our nation as it is...and it's ‘critical’.....
Bringing down the presidency to the status of an entry-level job is the ultimate insult to our Constitution, to our history of struggle for self-government, and to all those personages who have served our people and our country.
Choosing a president is not a lottery...nor an escape into another Celebrity Apprentice Show to re-brand your name once again..... It is and should be a confrontation and debate of contrasting candidates and “understood” policy agendas....we don't need band-aid agendas for superficial wounds...nor a game of cat an mouse between our media and the candidates just to make it a more interesting game while our nation lays in the critical care unit with a current administration that does nothing but pull the plugs keeping it alive. ......
It's a seriously grave mistake for a nation to fritter away its time and attention on candidates who, bereft of governing experience, cannot address and articulately answer the great questions this nation faces.....Every day that we waste in listening to the prattle of the press and candidates failing to articulate their positions is a day wasted.
I'm beyond tired of this nations people pushing aside the most competent leaders for persons with NO track record sufficient to establish their credibility just because they're popular among the masses.... Trump wants to be an "Apprentice" over this great country, and he wants the enormous time it will take for him to even begin getting his feet wet in the halls of Washington and Congress as if he's entering job training....we do not have that time for trial and error!
One can disagree without it attacking. There have been many things I’ve disagreed with Levin over the years, and yes, I have emailed him about them. Expressing one’s opinion differently than the GREAT ONE, isn’t attacking.
You seriously don’t trust the UN, do you?
Your post is the most stupid thing I’ve ever read.
It will always be an entry level job for anyone except an incumbent. And people always evolve in their thinking even incumbents. And the world is always changing. So a person of good character, who is a proven leader and success, and who is smart and open minded is about as good as it gets.
You’re sounding like a member countries f the LSM btw.
