Mark Levin opened his show tonight saying that he wouldn't have proposed what Donald Trump proposed on banning Muslims entering the US, but rather what Rand Paul proposed which was aimed at banning immigration from countries in the Middle East where radical Islam is a big problem.
Despite this, Levin says that Trump has opened the way for us to have a national discussion on Sharia Law and Islam, and that Trump's critics should embrace the discussion instead of piling on Trump.
And as a side note on this, to those candidates who are claiming that Trump's proposal is unconstitutional, Levin points out it has nothing to do with the Constitution. He says the bill of rights, more importantly the first amendment only applies to us here, not to people living abroad. Levin says we've always controlled our immigration and Trump's proposal falls in line with that.

Only 10 Senators voted for Rand Paul’s legislation referred to by Levin. Cruz voted for it and Rubio voted against it.

The problem with Rand Paul’s proposal is that there are plenty of muslim radicals of middle eastern descent but with European passports.
These people fall into the visa waver program and can come into the country without any background checks.

I was going to say the same thing.
Levin is a big mouth screaming about radical Islam and when Trump brings it up and cracks the conversation wide open he loses his courage.
Trump is going to win it all. There is no one who can compete with him.
Exactly no one owns Trump while the advertising companies own Mark. Not much room for him to say it like Trump does.
Mark likes to rant and rave a lot but he just doesn’t quite have the stones to say what really needs to be done.
None of the conservative talkers do really. Mainly they just run their mouths, all talk.
Cruz was on with Levin at the bottom of the 2nd hour tonight and they discussed all of this directly. HarleyLady27 probably missed it, though.

Levin confirmed that what Trump said is completely Constitutional. It was a bit of running and catching up to the Trump Train, for Levin, but complementary, overall.
Europe is accepting millions of refugees from the middle east.
As soon as they get their EU passports they will be able to hop on a plane to New York without visas, background checks, etc.
Trump’s proposal is just common sense.

And you apparentally don’t have the balls to ping Mr. Levin when insulting him. So I helped you out. But he probably has better things to do than respond to your petty insults.
