Donald Trump tonight faced calls to be banned from Britain over 'obnoxious, repellent and dangerous' claims that police in London 'fear for their lives' because some communities are so radicalised.
The Republican frontrunner also demanded 'a total and complete shutdown' of Muslim immigration into America, which David Cameron said was 'divisive, unhelpful and quite simply wrong'.
Labour MP Stella Creasy and the SNP's Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh condemned Mr Trump as a ‘hate preacher’. In an unprecedented condemnation, Mr Trump came under fire from Scotland Yard, Downing Street and the leading contenders to be London Mayor after he claimed areas of the British capital are too dangerous for police, sparking calls for him to be banned from Britain.
He said: 'We have places in London and other places that are so radicalised that police are afraid for their own lives'.
Current Mayor of London Boris Johnson said Mr Trump was speaking 'utter nonsense' and openly mocked the American, adding: 'The only reason I wouldn't go to some parts of New York is the real risk of meeting Donald Trump.'

Maybe the Londoners should explain why thousands of Brits are moving to France every year because “England isn’t England any more.” Brits have no means of defending themselves. They can’t even carry a pocket knife with a blade over 2 1/2 inches, but a British soldier can be beheaded in the street in London and nobody moves to help him!
I bet he has other reasons for not going to other parts of the City.
All the harrumphing in the world won't change the fact that Britain is in peril, as are all the Western nations from Islam (which isn't a race, but a conquest plan masquerading as a religion).
Now, we'll see how that works out for Britain, but that said, I'm glad I'm on this side of the pond.
