This documentary includes some misinformation, including some politically correct statements portraying the internment of Japanese in the United States to be entirely without just cause. In fact, the FBI, naval intelligence services, and Army intelligence series among many other Federal and state authorities had been investigating and observing the activities of the Japanese intelligence services inside the United States for many decades. This video also misleads by not acknowledging how a large number of the interned Japanese were citizens of Japan and/or chose to repudiate any allegiance to the United States. The video also misleads by failing to inform the viewer that the internment did not affect Japanese-Americans in the interior of the United States not subject to the need to maintain operational security of the naval forces, air forces, and embarkation ports located in the coastal states. No mention was made of the Italian internees along those same sensitive coastlines.

Good points. In her “In Defense of Internment,” Michelle Malkin includes photocopies of FBI reports on Japanese spies IN CALIFORNIA. They were not just in Hawaii, and we were so concerned about an attack on the west coast that the Lockheed factory was entirely camouflaged to look like farm land. I went to school in classrooms that were pillboxes at UC Santa Barbara that at one time had guns pointing to the sea to repel the expected Japanese attack.

Who were the two American presidents during WWII, and what party did they belong to? Which party controlled congress and the Supreme Court during WWII? Why did that party lock up Japanese and Germans for the duration of the war?

Below is a reality that has been hidden by the left wing media re German Americans in WWII.

One of the best kept secrets of WWII was the internment of German American men, women and children, away from the rest of America.

Canada and some Latin America countries did the same and interned some Italians.

Why did these evil countries do this. They were at war with the Axis, Germany, Italy and Japan, and they did not want to have acts of terrorism committed against their citizens by possible terrorists.

Did the media label FDR and Truman as evil men for the internment of Germans, Japanese and some Italians during WWII?

Your statement makes absolutely no sense when applied to the Japanese in Hawaii-——few were interned.
