....Cartels south of the border actually have a lot in common with ISIS. In fact, ISIS could learn a thing or two from their gruesome tactics. The biggest differences between the two are motive and religion.
Since 2006, more than 60,000 civilians have been killed in Mexico's drug wars. Hundreds, if not thousands, of Mexican citizens have been slaughtered as a result of Operation Fast and Furious and Obama's DOJ purposely supplying Mexican cartel members with the weapons they need for murder.
Beheadings, dismemberment, soaking rivals, journalists and pesky civilian opponents alive in acid baths, live burials, mass graves, torture, body dumping, the execution of police chiefs, mayors and other public officials, public hangings, mass slaughter with firearms and explosives and more are all regular occurrences in Mexico. We just don’t talk about it much.
For the White House to argue it’s the NRA that wants to protect the ability for terrorists to purchase firearms is laughable, but it's especially hypocritical when we revisit the facts of Fast and Furious and the narco-terrorists who are now more heavily armed thanks to the Obama administration.

Don’t forget that the dark secret behind Benghazi is that hillary and Zero were fueling the opposition to Syria’s Assad by supplying the Free Syrian Army who embedded reporters say is the same thing as ISIS and ISIL. The Benghazi Lybian mission seems to have been trying to brow beat the Lybian insurgents into turning over the US-supplied arms and Khadaffi’s captured arms to be run trough Turkey to ISIS.
Like the weapons we ‘accidentally’ dropped to ISIS.

One of my problems is that when I hear Obama lay one of his outrageous whoppers, my brain goes into a freeze-up. So many of his statements are such monstrous, stupid, grotesque lies that I simply don't know how to deal with it.
I write software for a living. I'm used to debugging software, for finding the tiny error in thousands of lines of code.
When I'm faced with the types of gargantuan moral and ethical cock-ups that Obama (and his Democrat predecessor Slick Willy) utter virtually every day, I don't know how to handle it. I always think "well, there are better rhetoricians than I out there, and one of them will handle the response to this."

Arms are bought well in advance of wars, almost always. If the wars go on for a long time, they may be purchased during the conflict.
The idea that arms merchants push for wars is one of the most cherished, and wrong, myths of the left.

What else would you call heavily arming international criminal syndicates within a foreign country wherein that country is in a death struggle with those syndicates?
Especially when it goes beyond thousands of assault rifles to include grenades, RPGs, shoulder fired rockets, anti-aircraft guns, night vision equipment, body armor and special deals to bring their drugs onto our soil with legal impunity?
Not to mention that the rip crew that killed BP Agent Brian Terry was there with DEA and FBI assistance and approval to attack and kill a rival cartel's smuggling crew.
Let's not leave out the DEA laundering millions of dollars for the drug cartels by setting up bank accounts for them that they otherwise couldn't do.
It's organized, it is spread through every Federal LEA and it violates numerous domestic laws and numerous statutes and treaties that deal with foreign nations. Yet none of it has been officially sanctioned. It's the FedGov acting like mafiosa.
