After a mammoth and very detailed debate (ten hours!) the UK parliament has decided to launch air strikes on ISIS forces in Syria.
TOPICS: Chit/Chat; Military/Veterans; Miscellaneous
KEYWORDS: airstrikes; isis; raf; syria
Lots of good speeches (both for and against to be fair), but the pick was the last one by, ironically, the socialist shadow foreign affairs minister, Hilary Benn (son of Tony Benn).

The sniveling little punk who leads the Opposition was more disgusting than usual today. That Hilary Benn was quite good though. The Telegraph was saying that he might be the next Prime Minister.

The Germans are expected to vote in favor of military action as well.

Too many Western planes bombing sand and not enough boots killing terrorists.
