DES MOINES, IA (CNN) – Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is breaking all the rules of political discourse, and it seems to be working. He’s led in virtually every poll for weeks, despite controversies that would sink ordinary candidates. Even more surprising to some is that Trump is doing especially well among women. A CNN/ORC poll released Tuesday shows that 60 percent of female Republican voters have a favorable opinion of him.
Who are the women behind those numbers? It seems no matter what Trump says about women, more and more Republican women like what they see - even after he blasted Fox News’ Megan Kelly.
