There’s absolutely no connection between violent rhetoric, films, TV, or video games and violence?

It’s more like, “Monkey see, monkey do.”

Media defines the norms of our culture.

For example, Chicago had never had a single drive-by shooting until BOYZ IN THE HOOD aired on HBO. There were then several that weekend.

Go figure...

There’s a connection. The problem is that a healthy mind can separate the two. A liberal mind equates them.

Plenty of us grew up on Terminator and Iron Maiden and to this day play games like Fallout and Call of duty yet we never have and never will go thrill killing or raping/pillaging. Thats something only a liberal does because they were taught moral equivilence and ‘lesser evil’. In short, they are not mentally fit to differentiate fantasy from reality.

yeah but japan has the most violent shows and movies around and almost zero violent crime.
