The recent Paris Islamic terror attack was on a Friday. The recent Mali Islamic terror attack was on a Friday. Given that the Islamic holy day is Friday, can this all be just a coincidence?

My birthday is on a Thursday in 2016.
When's yours? I was kinda hoping no one would ask that, but since you asked...
My parents were true revolutionaries, and followed the French Revolutionary Calendar. Out of respect for their tradition, I do the same. This year my birthday falls on a Nonidi, the ninth day of the revolutionary 10-day week.
And I'm not kidding about this (or maybe I am).
