Beware if you start this series. It is highly addictive. I got “Killing Floor” on the recommendation of my father in law and couldn’t quit after that. I read all 19 in order over the course of about 8 months and finished about a year ago. I was so happy when the new one came out last September.

Jack Reacher is a great character and the books are well written with interesting and intricate plots. I would recommend giving the series a try. They are all available on Kindle.

I am reading Trump's CRIPPLED AMERICA. I got the book AGENT STORM: My Life Inside Al Qaeda and the CIA but have not yet started to read it.

I love to read mystery novels. Maybe it is a coincidence but in a number of those I have picked the author, among them Harlan Coben, stops to lecture the reader about how unfairly gays are treated, etc. Yet usually it is totally irrelevant to the story.

Black Edelweiss, A Memoir of Combat and Conscience, by Johann Voss.

I have that on my wish list. I've heard that it's quite good.

I have read Sum of All Fears and Clancy is one of my favorite authors. I think I have read all his novels with Jack Ryan. I have only read one Op Center book.

I hope they keep Kyle Mills writing the series. I have read all but a couple of the Mitch Rapp books. I am sure you will enjoy The Survivor.

I read Day of Wrath a while ago. Great novella. Reminded me again of the horror of Belsam. And now Obama is in a frenzy to bring these terrorists into our country.

I keep recommending Matthew Bracken's book Foreign Enemies and Traitors. It is exciting and a section tells how Obama or Hillary might force people to accept "refugees" or illegal aliens into their homes.

Have you read “Term Limits” by Vince Flynn?

If not, I recommend it highly. We need “Term Limits” today.

Allan Ryskind’s “Hollywood Traitors: Blacklisted Screenwriters - Agents of Stalin, Allies of Hitler” - excellent book - yes, the Hollywood Ten and more actually were trying to propagandize the American public with their moviemaking in support of Stalin and his communistic ambitions for this country - very timely in view of the recent attempts to resurrect the likes of Dalton Trumbo.....

Preference in books is like preference in food. No one size fits all. I don't know why, but I just do not care for Lee Child's novels. Same with Stieg Larssen's. Stieg's novels are incredibly popular. I tried one and found it utterly boring, skipped over sections. It had a must stupid ending.

I liked all the Vince Flynn novels that I have read and also Brad Thor's. One of the books that left a strong impression was One Second After by William Forstchen.

I totally agree. I think we all are surprised when others don’t love what we do. I read all the Passengers books & really liked both film adaptations. I am going to check out your recommendations. Thanks!!

Someone whose books I just discovered a few years ago is Greg Iles. He is magnificent! And Laura lippman.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
