Unless you redefine the word, I call BS on the part about eliminating “crapware”. All the new PC’s come pre-loaded with it on purpose.
My bad, I meant the stuff that gets downloaded via browser hijacking by ads and such, not the crapware that comes pre-installed by an OEM manufacturer.
These days I only install clean purchased-from-Microsoft releases of Windows (or MSDN .ISOs) so it's been ages since I had to deal with a pre-loaded crapware-laden installation. Those pre-installed systems are a nightmare, and you'll never get back those hours of your life you spent cleaning their awful crap off the disk.
I do computers for a living, and that's just too many hours that I could have spent more productively. Like FReeping. :-)
