Army Spc. Michael Sharkey was stationed in Hawaii when he learned that a pair of ex-cons had broken into his New Port Richey, Florida, home and claimed it as their own.
By the time Sharkey was able to return home, Julio Ortiz and Fatima Cardosa had already changed all of the locks and established residency with his address.
“They are criminals,†the soldier told local news affiliate WFLA. “I am serving my country, and they have more rights to my home than I do.â€
Legally, there was nothing Skarkey could do.
But bikers don’t always care as much about the law as they do vigilante justice.

Somewhat I agree -- an interesting thing to consider is that some biker "gangs" (more accurately, clubs or groups) have many cops and retired cops in their membership. I think there's a good possibility that many decent cops are as sick of the corruption/ineffectiveness of some police departments as we are, and want to do something about taking care of the folks they're supposed to serve and protect but which their departments fall down on doing.
In this case they were realistic and hauled her ass to jail :)

Within 24 hours, with the assistance of Sand Soldiers of America, we helped the Sharkeys’ get an attorney, who immediately served the squatters with a 24 hour notice to quit. Ironically, the publicity generated by WFLA’s story provoked citizens to “encourage†the squatters to leave immediately!
