The nightmare season for Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is getting worse.
Manning has a torn plantar fascia in his right foot, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. According to Schefter, Manning had already been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis, but the condition has now worsened.

I’ve had it too. Only foot thing more painful is gout.
Brady is still the greatest ‘cheater’ of all time.
There, fixed it . . .

Got that that few yards. Good for him.
Now, relax, and take the slow train to Canton.
Today...not looking like such a good idea. Eli slipped us around yesterday.
Rah, there are nine teams this season who say that.....as they skulk off the field.
I am loving the “revenge tour.”
I am a Chiefs fan but took no joy from that win. It was painful to watch.
Eli outscored my regular QB, reliable Aaron Rogers almost every time I went with my head and played Rogers. Then when I played Eli, he would choke that week. Brother Peyton just appeared to be more consistent, so I grabbed him when he became available.
I had plantar fasciitis but did not have a tear. Mine was a bone spur that caused havoc with the tendon. Very painful. Tendons take a long time to heal themselves, I know because I have had carpal tunnel surgery.
Okay, Broncos. Bring back Tim Tebow!
I have had plantar fascia surgery on both feet. It’s horrible to not be able to walk from pain.
Sorry to hear that. I thought there was some problem vs. the Chiefs.
Bring back Tebow.
He’ll play next week. Shoot it with deadening... he’ll play.
Torn to what degree? I had a small plantar fascia tear (actually it separated from the attachment to the heel bone) and it felt as though a knife was being inserted into the bottom of my foot just ahead of the heel. A couple of weeks rest, new custom orthotic supports and getting back to training slowly cured it. My best lifetime five mile, 10K, half-marathon and marathon times came after I had healed up.
Hopefully his is no worse; I like the guy, even when he beats up on my Giants.
I’ve had it. Takes a long time to heal.
Elat is a narcissistic jerk , but he is not a lefty .
Elway
I’ve always been a Peyton Manning fan through out his career. Wow I hate this for him. He will always be the best! I wish him well.
A number of people here equate trading Tebow with being a liberal. After all, why else would he do that?
