As I sat down in church this morning I felt the butt of my Sig Sauer P320 9mm Compact gently thump against the back of the pew. At the same time I was also aware of the spare 17 round magazine (from the full size P320 that fits the compact, too) pressing on the small cargo pocket designed for such supplies on the front of my left thigh. I carefully looked around for strangers that represented a potential threat and seeing none, I began speaking to my Lord and Savior in earnest prayer.
God Bless you, sir. Thank you for your service. We are all safer for brave men like you.
That’s who I will be after I complete my training and buy my handgun.
I sat down in church this morning and did what I do in any public seating area...I locate the exits, all of them, not just the closest one, and I counted the pews and gauged the distance to each exit. It’s something I was taught in flight training, and whenever I would brief blind or disabled passengers, I always counted off the rows for them. I do this in theaters, on buses, etc. Since they are using grenades and smoke devices in these attacks, you need to think about what you would do if you could not see. Be situationally aware at all times, and put away the damn phones!
Very good! Love it!
Dude! Is that not the slickest out-of-the-box trigger you've ever felt?
I swear that FCM is made out of faerie dust!
