Unhappy with a series of small concessions from the administration, protesters at Yale University have released a new list of demands that include firing people they donât like and giving their favored programs a budget increase of at least $8 million a year.
The new demands, released by a group calling itself Next Yale, were read aloud to Yale president Peter Salovey Thursday night by protesters who marched to his front door at midnight. The group says the demands are necessary to âreduce the intolerable racism that students of color experience on campus every day.â Salovey is given until Nov. 18 to respond.
As evidence of Yale's hostile racial climate, the demands cite a widely debunked alleged exclusion of black women from a party hosted at Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) fraternity. There is substantial evidence this alleged segregation did not happen.

Heck, I’m willing to settle with Yale for only a lousy million, which is much cheaper than than what the protesters are demanding.
Remember please that the professors at Yale received a huge grant from a private party to establish a chair in Western Civilization and turned down. “And they that rolleth a stone, it shall return upon them”- The Good Book.
It’s time to just ignore them. 100 or so “students” out of a student body population of over 12,000 does not warrant any attention and, certainly, no concessions. The media needs to stop reporting these miscreants as if they are anything other than spoiled brats.
I think you are on to something there. Attitudes might shift after a little stretch in the military....On the other hand, does the military want these fruit loops?
The family member would be on their side for sure, however, she is in Cornell administration and it is administration the liberals are mad at. So, she has a dilemma - if she speaks out supporting the liberal students, she is speaking against administration and her bosses at Cornell would not be happy.
She has liberal crap on her Facebook page but not one word about Ithaca College.
I find it humorous that she has to choose administration instead of her liberal buddies - so a liberal isn't so liberal when it comes to her job.
