I’ve used Atkins successfully in the past. However, I did end up with one problem - gout. Inflamed joints is not much of a benefit, so one does have to be careful. Another issue is bone density, especially for women. High protein diet makes your body acidic, & calcium must be used from somewhere to address the problem.
Now I’m trying a somewhat modified diet, but it doesn’t work as well. Sigh...
I swear I started feeling healthier when I started drinking whole milk and eating eggs and sausage again. Stop eating anything with msg and high fructose corn syrup. Note that companies are printing this on packages saying they don’t contain them. They know that stuff is bad for you.
