Paris Proves We’ll Never Kill Enough Jihadists to Stop Terror (barf alert)
The Daily Beast ^ | 14 Nov, 2015 | Maajid Nawaz

Less than a day after the West celebrated symbolic victories over ISIS, the terrorists have shown in Paris how far their cancer has metastasized. It was a horrible and horrifying scene on Friday the 13th in Paris, where seven apparently coordinated terrorist attacks killed 127 people or more. The attackers used grenades and Kalashnikovs; four suicide bombings have been reported.

Center stage for this well-planned assault appears to have been the Bataclan concert theater, where more than 100 people have died. One witness there, according to BFM television, claimed that he heard rounds of automatic rifle fire and someone shouting “Allahu akbar!” And French radio reported a shooter shouting, “This is for Syria.”

Destroy something that they hold dear. You have to break their will. If only they had some sacred city or something in the desert somewhere.

How will we know that we can’t kill every single one of them if we never try it?

“Maajid Nawaz is Co-Founder and Chairman of Quilliam – a globally active think tank focusing on matters of Integration, Citizenship & Identity, Religious Freedom, Extremism and Immigration - and Founder of Khudi, a Pakistan based social movement campaigning to entrench democratic culture among the nation’s youth.”

You need to sit this one out, pal.

> So we should just let them kill us? Brillant. Illogical ninnies.

A young woman there said,
“Then we heard terrorists who were shouting, Syria was in it. And then... mostly it was: “Stay down, don’t move, we’ll shoot you.’
“But then they shot anyway. I was thinking to myself, is it going to be me next? That’s what went through my head.”

Typical waiting to die reaction. If they are going to kill you, then attack them. What’s the worst thing that will happen? You get killed just the same as waiting to be killed.

The head of the snake is the House of Saud.

Strike off the head of the snake. Don’t pick at the snake’s scales.

Conclusion of the article:

“..all our calculations about what is required at home, what must be done in Syria to tackle ISIS head on—and how to truly defeat the appeal of the Islamist ideology—must be fundamentally reappraised.”

All true.

I would add, undermining not only the appeal of the ideology, but the very basis of the ideology - which is the official Saudi Government interpretation of islam- the Wahhabi sect of the Hanbali school of islamic jurisprudence.

The Saudis are the root and funders of this phenomena. Regime change is needed there to impose secularism. A vote would just put extremists in power.

Don't have to. You do something so wildly disproportionate, so spectacular, so destructive that the grandchildren of the few who survive will tell their grandchildren about it in hushed tones.

France24 has an English broadcast where a woman, might be same, said two of the terrs took off their masks and spoke in French with French accents.

There are so many places that the islamists are out of control. Saudi Arabia certainly supports some, but I think Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen and UAE are worse.

The stupid is strong with this one!

Imagine 1942: we can’t kill enough Japanese - so let’s give up!

We have not even tried to fight this war we have been in. Maybe it is time we try? That means taking the fight to the entire Islam world. It is not a police action, it is war. Firebomb Islamic city after city just like we did to Japan and Germany. Blockade all their ports, take their key resources and land and keep it for our needs. Starve out and kill their people until they capitulate once and for all and renounce Islam. Until that happens, you just keep degrading and reducing their cities, population, economy, infrastructure, and their ability to live until it happens.

That is the nasty business of war. Their entire population against ours.

Up until now the bitter truth that our Muslim populations have been subjected to decades of sustained Islamist propaganda by those who live among them has gone almost totally ignored. The long term solution cannot continue to ignore this truth, and cannot continue to neglect those few Muslims, and others, attempting to take on this threat within their own communities.

So, the author's point is that Muslims are too stupid to reject propaganda that tells them they are victims and must kill everyone who doesn't agree with them? Or, perhaps, the real problem is that the Koran really *does* tell adherents to go out and kill everyone who won't submit? That was Mad Mo's position when people wouldn't accept his Satanic revelation.

Yes, you can kill your way to safety. But to do so you must wade in blood—Kill Millions, many millions. Also conversions even at the point of a sword. Burn all Mosques, burn all Korans. Return to the church and the faith of Jesus Christ. Its that or Convert to Islam.

We’ll never kill enough? I don’t think we should stop trying! Theirs is a culture of death, and we should accommodate them. There will regrettably be collateral damage but the world will be a better place when it is finished.

The Empire of Japan (Dai Nippon Teikoku, literally "Greater Japanese Empire")[8] was the historical Japanese nation-state[nb 2] that existed from the Meiji Restoration on January 3, 1868 to the enactment of the 1947 constitution of modern Japan.[1]

The problem lies in the retail approach of whacking islamists. Market forces dictate a wholesale high volume solution. Onsies and twosies doesn’t cut it. Three or four digits followed by letter K is a more appropriate approach.

no - it proves if we don’t kill them there, we’ll end up having to kill them here. simple, isn’t it? except if you’re BO. then it is nuclear physics.

What we really need(I’ll get flamed for this for sure from our Southern FReepers) is a General Sherman. His march from Atlanta to the sea destroyed the Confederacy, and someone like him would show no mercy to the goat shaggers.

Maybe no flaming.

He did understand war in principle. He understood it in exactly the same way that ISIS understands it. The sentiment in ISIS leadership circles as I understand it, is that the more terrible that war is, the sooner it will be over and victorious. We try to wage a merciful, considerate war. Maybe that's not the right path, in the long run. It is consistent with our principles of not harming where we don't have to, but I wonder if that works with people other than the civilized.

There's a Churchill quote out there that goes (I'm butchering it, I know) something like; "The Muslim is either at your throat or at your feet".
