An upstate New York college canceled all classes and shut down campus Friday after someone threatened to "shoot up" the school, officials said.
Marist College in Poughkeepsie announced the closure via Twitter and email alerts Friday morning.
On Thursday night, a tweet surfaced warning Marist employees not to go to work on Friday.
"If you work at Marist I strongly advise you donât attend school tomorrow," read the tweet, posted at 10:51 p.m. "There is going to be a big surprise. You have been warned."
Several hours later, the same poster-identified as OTF NuNu, according to sources-followed up with a more tangible threat. "Brb...Going to shoot up Marist College," the poster wrote.

On TV the good guys can trace the source of that email in 15 seconds, and be breaking down the perps door between commercials!
And liberals don’t shoot back, they just hope the shooter’s gun jams before he gets to them.
