Current Media Attack Against Trump: Iowa Voters Being Stupid
Vanity | 13 Nov 15 | xzins

Posted on 11/13/2015 6:46:56 AM PST by xzins

Rather than rebut the media, let's just post the actual words of Donald Trump, so everyone can compare what the media says versus what Donald Trump actually said.

About Iowa Voters:

Trump is talking about Carson's story of stabbing his friend. He relates what Carson has written about lunging with a knife to stab his friend when lo and behold it hits the friend's belt instead... and then: "He plunged it (the knife) into the belt, and amazingly the belt stay totally (fine?), and the knife broke --- how stupid are the people of Iowa, how stupid are the people of the country, to believe this crap..."

Contrast that with the media meme: "Trump called the voters of Iowa stupid." As you can see from above, he was talking about Carson's story being unbelievable that the knife hit a belt and it broke the knife.

See video of the event at the 2:01 mark toward the end of the speech.

Earlier Trump addresses pathology.

He says pathology is uncurable. It’s an interesting section, too.

The more interesting aspect is that Carson used the word “pathological” to describe his behavior first. It’s like a court case....Carson opened the door.

Yep, the usual everyday purposeful misunderstanding by the liberal Media. They just can’t get it right. LoL. Bunch of ninnies who cry wolf everyday. All epic failures.

The story of the knife just happening to hit a belt and for the knife then to break DOES make a person scratch his head and wonder what’s going on in this story. That is too good to be true.

Media lies.

Horribly.

They’ve been doing it to Carson. This is the same to Trump.

This is clearly a deliberate distortion meant as a smear of Trump to purposely and knowingly present a false impression in people.

Bigger question Is why is Trump even talking about belt buckles and knives?

When Obummer speaks it’s called a speech, when Trump speaks it’s called a rant.

Nothing personal, but I find your comment incredibly dumb.

Are you serious?

I have no problem with Christianity bringing radical change to a person’s life, that they can be born again.

However, this knife event happened before that.

To be honest, it stretches credibility to believe that the knife just happened to hit the belt, that that knife didn’t just block the knife blade, but that the knife actually broke.

CORRECTION:

To be honest, it stretches credibility to believe that the knife just happened to hit the belt, that that BELT didn’t just block the knife blade, but that the knife actually broke.

In the end, we are presented with less than ideal human beings for whom to vote.

Our choices are;

1) Hillary Clinton. (documented congenital liar)

2) Trump, Carson, Cruz, Rubio, et.al.

The former is all about self, and could care less about anyone else.

Of the latter, none are perfect. One must choose who is most likely to perform the most acceptably while in office. People grow, people do change, albeit slightly and slowly.

The real question is about CHARACTER. Who has the best character and is likely to do what is best for AMERICA as opposed to themselves. Who among the Republican contenders most represents your thinking on matters of importance to you. My own choice has to be acceptable to me. Whether you agree or not is not important to my choice, and why I chose that person.

For me, Donald Trump is not the ideal candidate, nor is Ben Carson, nor Ted Cruz. The rest are completely unacceptable. So of the three presented, which would you prefer? Your choices are this...or not vote at all, which essentially would be a vote for choice #1 above.

Sometimes stuff happens that you just can’t make up. There’s stories about a badge or something else on a person stopping a bullet.

So many things wrong with it.

The funniest is the analogy to prosecution in court.

The judge would ask Trump if he is a Doctor with an expertise in psychology. His diagnosis would not be accepted by the court.

That’s funny.

The serious part is trying to smear Carson via his own Christian testimony.

The dumb part is thinking that adolescent stupidity would be telling in any way of Carson’s character.

Here’s a question for all the legal eagles out there - but is Ben Carson actually liable for prosecution on the basis of his admitted crime of trying to stab his friend in 9th grade?

This incident would have happened in 1965 or so, when Carson was in 9th grade.

Carson graduated HS in 1969 and went to Yale. So he lived in Michigan for four years after the incident.

He then graduated from Yale in 1973 and attended medical school in Ann Arbor, finishing there in 1977. So that’s another four years of being a Michigan resident.

He then went to Johns Hopkins to finish his residency and then stayed on there for the rest of his medical career.

The Michigan Criminal Code for statute of limitations gives a limitation of ten years for charges to be brought for the crime of “assault with the intention or conspiracy to murder.” However, this ten year period apply to time of residency in the state of Michigan, in which the individual was “substantially residing” in the state. Carson only had eight years of post attempted murder residency.

So is he still liable for prosecution if he sets foot in Michigan, or liable for extradition?

Not saying this should or will happen...but it does raise an uncomfortable question.

To be frank with you, at this point, I’m most impressed with the consistent conservative, Cruz. I listened with my own ears to Rubio come out for green cards for just 10 years for illegals. Carson simply isn’t forceful enough for me. Trump is conservative but is a new convert to that position.

So, if I though Cruz could beat Clinton, then I’d be all for him.

I DO THINK that Trump has the means to win. He has more than enough MONEY. That is a huge issue.

Next, I think his name recognition is probably as great or greater than Hillary’s. And I think low info voters flock to his simple speech, his media fame, and his “you’re fired” toughness.

Bottom line is that, if Trump stays the course with immigration, he’s the most likely to win given his advantages of money and name recognition.

Trump “how stupid are the people of Iowa, how stupid are the people of the country, to believe this crap”

Spin it any way you like that exactly what Trump did. Trump has got to learn to be more disciplined. It these sort of off the cuff remarks that are hurting him with voters who might other wise vote for him.

The only person who can stop Trump now is Trump. These sort of comments are not going to help him
