Watching on dvd right now..... first time in over 5 years but probably my 10th time.... What has happened to our youth? The first ten minutes of this movie broke every politically correct taboo possible except for muslims .....

When they play it on TV they usually cut the sound out of the fireside bean scene.

Great movie! An equal opportunity offender. Not for today’s delicate little snowflakes.

We haven’t got a sense of humor anymore. Can anyone tell me a progressive joke. Same thing as Mao’s China.

This movie and blm have more in common than “Reefer Madness” and reality.

There is a true lack of humor in the land these days.

My wife and I own it on DVD. We watched it about two weeks ago and were pondering just how fast the world had changed and could anything like it be made today.
Of course it couldn’t. There would be rioting, even worse than at the end of the movie.

Anybody seen "Watermelon man"? I doubt you could make that one nowadays either.
Oddly enough it's about racial issues.

Neither could 'Airplane' be made today. Barbara Billingsley, the 'jive talking' old lady? Not today!

ALL KINDS of stuff couldn’t be re-shot these days.
How about History of the World, parts 1 or 2? Nope..!
How about a strait guy hilariously PRETENDING to be gay, the better to be permitted to live with 2 women, as in the old sitcom, Three’s Company..?
No way, that show would be shut down immediately; NO PRETENDING TO BE GAY..!!!
How about songs: “We gotta move these refrigerators....that little f*ggot is a MILLIONAIRE..!!!”
Nope!
In fact you don’t have to go back very long at all to see how much is disallowed.
Somehow there is a weird exception for South Park, which as a rare anti-PC outlet it thrives intensely, and will continue to do so.
