This is deeply disturbing. There are other candidates holding many of the same positions as Trump but who have rational programs to achieve those goals and who do not find it necessary to invent insults and disrespect for opponents.


This (if true) is an example of Trump’s pathological problem. He can’t control his mouth.

He cannot afford to alienate even 1/4 of the present Carson supporters. This is where elections are lost. If a candidate rises above another their first goal should always be to gain the supporters of the vanquished opponent. I could see this (again, if true) alienating many Carson supporters and if any GOP candidate is to win in the general they can’t afford that!

Carson supporters aren’t going to go to Trump anyway. Carson supporters are 2016 version of the Paulbot.

Cruz doesn’t stoop to any personal attacks and, as far as I can tell, hasn’t lied. The contrast with Trump is obvious but they both have some similar as does Carson as well. As you say, there are some Carson supporters who will never vote for Trump.
