This silly Google doodle is just an indication of whats going on all around you.
It’s confirmational bias. If you WANT to be marginalized then everything pushes you in the margin. If that’s not your life goal then you can clearly see 2 white males in the doodle and NO marginalization.
You got one part right though, it IS an indication. It’s just not indicating what you think. It’s indicating how much effort some people are willing to put into being offended.
You know, I have to ask people what they expect a comeback would even LOOK like. Wouldn’t you pass through some territory where you had been, before you got to an even worse place?
Or are they expecting a magic fairy to instantly make everything perfect?
If the “Pollyanna” caricature and whipping girl meme achieved anything, it was to factor “relationship with God according to His promises” out of people’s pictures.
