Eat and drink more high calorie dense items, move less, gain weight because you start screwing up your liver and pancreas to metabolize the huge amounts of sugar it has to deal with.
Condider the normal amount of glucose in your blood is around just under 1 tsp which would weigh about 5 grams, then consider how you put your body into overdrive drinking a soda with 10 tsps of sugar in it. If the body just took it all into the blood you’d be dead.
Portion size and exercise.
Any time you take in more calories than your body burns the excess is turned to fat.
