Conservative TV and radio host Glenn Beck has offered to take over hosting the Republican presidential primary debate scheduled for Feb. 26.
In a letter sent to Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus on Monday, Beck, a former Fox News host and founder of conservative media company The Blaze, said his debate would reach a large block of conservatives in the country who have otherwise felt "excluded" from the Republican Party.
"Our plan is straightforward,â Beck wrote in the letter.â Rather than being moderated by journalists who ask all the questions, I will host, and I will invite the greatest new conservative thinkers and media voices in America to prepare and ask questions live and by video. Our panel will offer the candidates an opportunity to discuss substantial issues of importance with authentic answers that are thoughtful and elevating to the entire party.â

Yeah right, appear on Glenn Beck, that unhinged loon? No way.
Sober?
I’d rather have Joe Scarborough than Drama Beck.
How will Glenn find the time for this between writing 10 novels a year and handing out soccer balls to illegal aliens?
Yea that would not be a step up for the candidates at all. Actually worse.
Heck yeah.
Joe Scarborough is (very much) for Trump.
Very good call.
No, Thanks.
Cruz would be okay with it didn’t they pass the soccer balls out together.
And you know he wouldn’t do it without bringing Pat and Stu.... who are possibly the most worthless people you’ll ever hear on radio.
Glenn should interview Boehner instead. They can sit together and cry.
This actually would be a good idea had he not spent so much energy bashing Trump.
As it is, I can’t imagine Trump would sign on to it, and unless he’s in a forgiving mood it can’t happen.
Beck is too muddled, confused, biased, and goes into irrational rants. A couple of times I have listened to him and not been able to follow what he was talking about.
Maybe Trump would agree to it IF Beck shows up dressed in a strait jacket.
Four or five years ago, I would have been all for having Glenn serve as moderator to a GOP debate. Not today. Glenn seems rather unstable these days, creative to the point of hysteria and self destruction. Glenn now reminds me of Keith Olbermann, someone nobody can manage or even tolerate for very long.
NFW
From the frying pan into the fire.
Beck will make it about him and his television network, and the questions will revolve around his over-emoting “we can find common ground (with liberals who hate us and will send us to gulags at the first opportunity) as Americans” spiel.
That would be worth the price of admission. :)
I caught his little performance on O’Reilly tonight
He has the nerve.....!
He has treated Trump like dirt!
I once respected Beck....now he makes me ill
Why should Trump boost beck when he has been bashing him? Trump is no fool, unlike RNC.
