The Dating Struggles Of Being An Alpha Female

eing an alpha female is, for the most part, pretty awesome. I know this because I am one. Weâre wildly independent, ferociously driven and we favor passion over tender romanticizing. Weâre also incredibly stubborn, hard-headed, opinionated, and can be intimidating or misjudged by men. This makes our dating lives more of a challenge to navigate. Weâre not your typical submissive and doting partners, weâre a challenge. For this reason, finding a man who can handle and understand the traits we carry is much harder. These are the real struggles of being an alpha female in the dating world.

The vast majority of men REQUIRE a ‘high school girl’ mentality in their women because they have the mentality of high school buys themselves.
To be clear, I am the textbook definition of anti-feminist/Male chauvenist pig. Think ‘Pre 60s mentality”. That said, simple respect goes a long way. People are what they are and most of both sexes never broke out of the high school mindset.
I see nothing bad or wrong with Alpha females. Real ones. They can fix me a sammich like anyone else. But I am willing to bet Ward Cleaver made June a sammich or 12 in his day as well. And I have no problem doing it either.

Hmmm ... I wonder what she meant by "Mr Vanilla"?
I hope the right gal finally found you or is on her way to finding you!

I consider someone like Phyllis Schlafly to be an Alpha Female, not this whiny bee-otch.

This chick is the product of feminism and liberal schooling. Her future is in the Mature/BDSM section of porn.

"Iâm wondering how much her fetchins up influenced what she is today? Weâre pretty sure that Obola became the narcissistic asshat he is by being coddled and given everything he wanted as a child." See, I'm reminded of all the "girl power" stuff being fed to little girls, and I figure that will be the trend for women in the coming years. Not to mention that little boys are being drugged and told to shut up and act like girls, so I doubt there will be many men who are the type to "challenge" anything.

"Bravo! Men who have no doubts about their own masculinity have no problems with a strong woman." Strong woman and self-obsessed jerk are two very different types.

We see the results of what happens to boys already. Refrence the “Dudes like chicks that look like them” thing.

The vast majority of men REQUIRE a âhigh school girlâ mentality in their women because they have the mentality of high school buys themselves.

In far too many cases you are correct. Sad, isn’t it.....
Mutual respect is the name of the game and most people don’t know what “Love” really is. When they come to understand that when there is “love” it isn’t a question of dominance, but of “sharing.”

Not in my experience. It’s a woman who insists on being in charge.

I've been lucky twice. I kinda think the gals (sorry to hear of your first loss) who married you were lucky, too.

Yes. I even regret my describing my husband as an alpha-male, though it is distinctly true of his approach and personality. Using the title "alpha male" sounds snooty, but I've figured out that beta males are as attractive, valuable and powerful as alpha males, every bit as much, just in different roles. They are both equally tops, but in different ways; in (to my mind) a healthy romantic relationship, the male is
always the alpha in that particular equation, if he is married to a real woman.
But I'm a sexist, plain and simple, I acknowledge it. Alpha or Beta, I like to think beta most of the time and alpha when I need to be ... but hell, I have no idea!

Frankly, no. I suppose some people need it, but I never did.
Lipstick is okay, but too much paint and powder is too “fake.”

On the Normie scale of Dude, there’s the Alpha, which is a guy like Cruz or Trump or James Bond or Ahhhnold in an action movie.
The beta is the Pajama buy type. In my own mind, Beta is a thing to me placed in the woods with steak tied around it’s neck as it is net drain on the species.
Then there’s the average dude. Not an alpha, not a beta. Just what makes the world go round. Some are remarkable without being truly Alpha, some are pretty poor without being Beta.
I guess we all have our own definitions when it comes down to it. Different descriptors for basically the same thing.

"alpha female" No such thing.
And Norm wisely observes: "Oh yes there is.
In groups of women, there are definitely alphas. But VanDeKoik, I do agree that for a marriage to be content, out of the duo, there's no such thing as an alpha female. A husband is alpha by default; if he's not that in the lady's heart, she should rethink marrying him in the first place. But hey, that's just me.
