That’s fine, but what ‘action’ could be take?
The last seven years aside, the president does not make law.
And if Trump is going to be another ‘I make the laws I want’ president, then I do not want him.
All I am saying is, Donald Trump seems to be THE ONLY CANDIDATE who is for working Americans.
All the rest of the Republican candidates are for offshoring or bringing in massive amounts of immigrants to America. Neither of which are good for our country.
All the Democrat candidates are for requiring a higher minimum wage, and ever more government involvement in American businesses.
Trump is THE ONLY CANDIDATE saying American companies need to hire American candidates.
The only one.
He could ask for legislation to get rid of the H1B program. It will be an uphill fight as you can get H1B holders to work for a fraction of what Americans require. They’re just grateful to be here. Even living several to a rented room they are much better off than living where they came from. Their goal is to send money home to their families. While I feel for these people, they need to be home fomenting revolution against the elite of their country who are making it the cr*p hole that it is. America provides the safety valve for many cr*p hole countries. This is one reason Mexico is as bad as it is. The potential revolutionaries are all working here and sending money home. The problem is, they are making this country just like their country. Notice the Sharia no-go zones in Michigan.
Yes, but he is supposed to enforce the law.
And laws against using H-1B to replace American workers have NEVER been properly enforced. You should be applauding Trump being willing to do such, unlike Obama who created an entirely new program, OPT, that allows foreign students to stay on and work to where employers don't even have to pay Social Security and Medicare taxes. THAT is not just making law, it is making UP laws.
I have concerns with Trump. But until candidates such as Cruz, who supports increasing H-1B visas, come around on that issue, Trump is my front-runner. I would much rather support Cruz. But this is my job at stake here.
I would imagine for starters, whatever DHS appropriation contains H-1 visas for 2017, the Trump administration just doesnt ask for funding for it. And if Congress appropriates, i would imagine DHS has wide latitude in drafting the regulations and issuing the visas, so I’m sure they could effectively kill the program for however long they want. It’s going to be interesting watching the Republican Party fight President Trump every step of the way and President Trump kicking their butts all over the playing field.
“Thatâs fine, but what âactionâ could be take?”
He can do the following:
1) Use the bully pulpit. Continue to communicate to the American public what Disney has done. It will result in Americans boycotting businesses owned by Disney (theme parks, entertainment, ABC and ESPN television networks). This will hit the top and bottom lines.
2) Cut off all government contracting with Disney and its subsidiaries.
3) Conduct SEC and IRS audits of Disney business.
4) Promote legislation reforming the visa process.
> Thatâs fine, but what âactionâ could be take?
EXECUTIVE ORDER; what else would he need?
There are laws on the books that are not being enforced. It is illegal to replace a US worker with a H1-B visa worker. The law states that an H1-B visa worker can only be hired if no US workers can be found to do the job. Clearly there are US workers that can to these Disney jobs.
If Donald Trump, the President of the USA, stands in front of the TV cameras, and calls out specific laws that need changes, and specific companies that are screwing American workers, and you think that will have no effect on either the congress critters or the companies, just go play golf, sleep, get stoned or what ever else you do.
The President of the USA is the most powerful man on earth, even if it is a weak, mooselimb, halfrican, communist prick.
For example, the Labor Department can launch an investigation of such a business---just as Obama has done vs. conservative businesses I know. The Commerce Department can refuse to include such businesses in discussions with other countries. And so on. This stuff really adds up, none of it unconstitutional.
The point is, would a Pres. Cruz do so? I don't think so. Moreover, a Pres. Cruz would not have the ability to go over the heads of the establishment to the public as a whole with such arguments. He would be neutered. That's why I think Trump is the only hope to right this ship.

So, who do you want? Are you donating to that candidate? Are you donating to FR?
If the answer to both/either question(s) is "No", then what are the core beliefs you claim to support?
Now for a short public service announcement to all on FR:
I prefer Cruz and my money goes to his campaign, hence the Cruz link. If you like someone else, donate to him/her (find your own link to do it) and if you use FR and don't donate, then please don't complain about the welfare leeches or those who have Obama Phones because, functionally, you are no different than any other FReeloader.....
GO CRUZ!! Keep it up Trump!!
Current immigration and labor law, on H1B visa requirements, are openly flouted on a grand scale!
All is needed is a President who (unlike Obama or Bush before him) will stop the Washington supported lawlessness. Here are the exact text of those flouted requirement directly from federal government websites:
"... wages that are at least the actual wage level paid by the employer to all other individuals with similar experience and qualifications for the specific employment in question, or the prevailing wage level for the occupational classification in the area of employment, whichever is greater, based on the best information available as of the time of filing the application." (link)"The employer will not displace any similarly employed U.S. worker within 90 days before or after applying for H-1B status, or an extension of status for any H-1B worker." (link)
With the dissatisfaction levels of voters and a general desire to kick out foreign interlopers, he can do to the re-election chances of any RINO/uni-party traitors, who they insist on replacing US workers, what an Anteater does to a termite hill. After all, this has proven an issue that seems quite near and dear to a great MANY Americans.
Personally I`d trash them in the media and at EVERY opportunity I could till they CRASHED AND BURNED! Now do you think that would be effective and Constitutional?
Thatâs fine, but what âactionâ could be take?
The last seven years aside, the president does not make law”
I thought the same thing. Telling a company whom they can hire is as intrusive as anything Obama has done. Just make it more difficult for people to come here and work.
How about what action can WE take? They won't make money without our patronage. Let's hold back the money we would pay to go there.
The question, are enough of us in this country outraged enough to do it?
from A Lincoln Preface
Carl Sandburg
“I don’t intend precisely to throw the Constitution overboard, but I will stick it in a hole if I can,” he told a Cabinet officer. The enemy was violating the Constitution to destroy the Union, he argued, and therefore, “I will violate the Constitution, if necessary, to save the Union.” He instructed a messenger to the Secretary of the Treasury, “Tell him not to bother himself about the Constitution. Say that I have that sacred instrument here at theWhite House, and I am guarding it with great care.”
“Those two votes must be procured. I leave it to you to determine how it shall be done; but remember that I am President of the United States and clothed with immense power, and I expect you to procure those votes.”
Trump is REIGNITING the AMERICAN WAY. He is putting America and Americans first instead of putting us last like Obama, the Clintons, and the liberal Left have done. He is going to start waking people up to the difference between right and wrong, breaking the law or supporting and obeying the law, that actions have consequences and people in high office are going to be held accountable for their criminal acts. and perhaps ,most importantly, he is going to give back to Americans the pride we once felt in being American. There is going to be a very large price to pay under a Trump presidency by those who would destroy America. He loves America. He loves our military. He loves the American Way. What more do we need? He can WIN!
