Your school teams were called the Bullets, right? I dig that name LOL. Knew an intern who went to school there and he told me a story that after 9 PM, he would still be there and nothing happened.

On his senior year, there was one night he and his bud were trying to break into the side of the building to get into the swimming area (not sure if it’s there) and he swears in an animated expression he hears almost like a person was beside him say “halt Yankee”.

Yes, we were (and still are!) the Gettysburg Bullets. There's something about Gettysburg; the history weighs heavy in the air. It's not necessarily a hostile or disturbing sense, but certainly a very palpable one. I had a few bizarre experiences there during my years there (and one years later when I went back to visit), but the Confederate officer was by far the clearest and unsettling.
