I found some leather that I haven't seen in at least 25 years.
So I'm making a holster for my .38.
I never liked any of the store-bought holsters.

When I was a kid, I got a 22 on my fifth birthday, in Alaska it wasn’t unusual. We learned to respect it by cleaning and keep it hung in the front closet after use. Dad had a fellow in British Columbia make deer hide bags for our guns. Also for his holster, my brother has it now, loves it. Yes, homemade is always softer and better made. I think youngest sis has Mom’s.
