Speaking as a white man, don’t we have ghastly complexions? Par-baked like those bread rolls you can buy in supermarkets, we look like not quite the finished product. Glancing at the person opposite on the Tube the other day, I thought “if only I could be that colour”. He was in his late thirties, maybe, south Asian, maybe Sri-Lankan; and his skin was that beautiful golden brown that whispers that this is how humans were supposed to look.

Lol. I dated a middle eastern guy, a Comanche, a member of the Chippewa tribe, and a couple Hispanic guys. Every single one of them really loved my complexion and I’m Irish with super pale skin.
I will say though that the guy I dated who was a Comanche said “we never kidnapped white women back in the day, they were all willing”. So maybe for men he has a point.

I’ve seen some Brits who look translucent like The Visible Man. You can almost see their internal organs through their skin.
I love my azure, crystal, shimmering blue eyes. The whole brown eyed world is jealous that we have them. And my porcelain white skin shimmers in the sun, taking on a golden hue in the summer. Yes, it’s hard to be so perfect. God’s best made creature. And smartest I might add. We are magnificent!
I try to imagine a world in which there were no people of color, and I can imagine it being quite good.
