You really are just going to repeat every argument you made (and I swatted down) in the other thread, aren't you? Contagious without fever present? Sure. But that doesn't mean contagious without any symptoms.
People are not contagious until they develop symptoms
I'll go with the people who study this stuff for a living (and who successfully prevented any outbreak in any developed country that was sending medical assistance to Africa last year), over people like you who spout chicken little nonsense (and who predicted a massive outbreak here). Why are you so damn focused on fever? I didn’t say patients are not contagious until the onset of fever. I said they are not contagious until the onset of symptoms. There are other symptoms:

As the disease progresses, people commonly develop vomiting and diarrhoea (‘the wet phase’), rash, impaired kidney and liver function, and in some cases, both internal and external bleeding.”
And patients are not symptomatic until the onset of symptoms.
Why are you so set against acknowledging that they don’t know all there is about Ebola and that the fact that 12.9% of cases present NO fever?
Therefore they have full Ebola without presenting a fever.
Joint aches can then be written off as stressing the limbs.
So diagnosing it can and has been missed.
And even you mentioned that Kaci had a fever for one day.
As much as I despise Christie, I think he should counter-sue to have the suit declared frivolous and seek damages against her and fines against her lawyer.
The state should be covered. Most states have quarantine laws to cover this. So they were within their rights.
If you were a hospital admin, calling this woman a bitch and misspelling rogue, well there’s that.
Mostly I’d be worrying about how our freedoms are pretty much nonexistent anymore.
Just like I told my students today, while the state police were there, talking about bullying and anti violence and asking if any students had guns in the house...the government is not your friend. Ever. So why would the state police attending an anti bullying anti violence week at a school ask students if they hunt and if they had guns in the house? If you don`t want to risk quarantine then don`t work in healthcare, it is an accepted practice in epidemiology. And WTF does an anti-bullying campaign have to do with a person being irresponsible in their personal actions, directly impacted by their profession as a healthcare practitioner?
