Are you really smarter than 100 billion bacteria all talking to each other and making important decisions about what you thought of as YOU? Maybe those bacteria are the actual YOU who are running the show and what you thought was YOU is just a parasite.

As the single cell ‘communicates’ does the bacteria have sentience and self-awareness? What assesses what is communicated? I suspect we are simply seeing an experiment which demonstrates a measurable difference of potential across the cell membrane or cell wall. This report is nonsense, clear and simple.
