of course there’s NO WAY to affect the brain in a way that makes you believe in God more and realize that illegals spilling across the border, including tons of MS13, is a disaster in the making.

Maybe we FReepers will one day be forced to undergo this Therapy!!

It’s funny. It was an atheist at my old job who helped me regain my faith.

Sounds crazy, but at the time i was a deep intellectual who thought that we just believed in God because we were smart enough to understand death and believe in a God out of fear.

He made me realize that was nonsense,.

There is evidence that the ability/propensity to believe in God is an inborn trait. Part of the brain exists for the purpose of believing. This is why you see people who reject Christianity then turn to all kinds of crazy beliefs--new age mysticism, paganism, Rastafarianism, scientology, etc.

You have to wonder why the desire to believe in God (or something greater than self) is inborn. Could it be God's way to ensure faith? Or is there some other reason for it?
