I don’t get it, why do the Metropolitan hair boys get home field advantage. The Chicago Cubs had the better record and took the seasonal series..............this would never happen in football.

Mets won their division which makes them the higher seed. And it happens pretty much every year in football in the Wild Card round, it can’t happen in the divisional round, but it could happen in the conference finals if the right teams lose.
