She had no choice. There is Catholicism, the one True Church established by Christ and followed for 2000 years by Peter and his successors, and then there’s all the rest under the mid-day sun. Most of these have withered and died.

I hope that Ms. Powers will be very happy if she joins the Catholic Church. I hope that she will find that the Church offers an intellectual, spiritual, and social home for her as she goes on through her life, and that she always experiences the presence of Christ in the Sacraments, in the community, and in the Bible.
If she ever wanders into St. Luke’s Evangelical Catholic Faith Community and Redneck Party Barn, especially for the Spanish Mass, I’ll be pleased to see her.
