Some sort of national PC insanity has taken hold.
I'm glad someone else noticed it -- and said it. For a while I thought it was maybe me -- or maybe the media's exaggeration. Maybe I was misreading things, but I keep getting this feeling that I can't shake off.
I see a paranoia, the end stage of a massive nervous breakdown.
Over the past year or so the leftists have seemed to obsess with the whites, in the same way Hitler obsessed with the Jews. Interestingly, he developed this mindset while a bum in Vienna. Essentially any underachiever or hysteric with a persecution complex, or anyone who feels marginalized or left behind in this advanced, technological society, wants to blame it on white (& to a lesser degree Asian) achievement. As if whites (especially white straight males) were all conspiring somewhere behind closed doors.
What comes to mind is Snow White's wicked stepmother, who was repeatedly told the truth by the magic mirror, that she was NOT the fairest of them all -- and never could be. The only thing the woman could do, besides smash the mirror, was destroy her stepdaughter. If you don't like the message, shoot the messenger.
