Isn’t the fact that the Cubs are in the playoffs a tribute to Theo Epstein?

He shook up the Red Sox’ losing tradition, and maybe can do the same in Chicago?

Given that the THREE BEST TEAMS in baseball all come out of the NL Central, it’s probably inevitable that none of the three make it to the World Series..I actually think either the Cubbies or the Pirates will beat the Cards...

It absolutely is a tribute to Epstein. Getting Rizzo, Arrieta, Bryant, Lester, Russell, Montero, Schwarber and most importantly Joe Maddon are directly credited to him. What he’s done there is nothing short of amazing.

The Cubs have a ridiculous amount of YOUNG talent, the best manager (imo) in the game and a terrific front office. It’s a very exciting time to be a Cubs fan (which I’m not, I’m a Yankee fan...)
