It absolutely is a tribute to Epstein. Getting Rizzo, Arrieta, Bryant, Lester, Russell, Montero, Schwarber and most importantly Joe Maddon are directly credited to him. What he’s done there is nothing short of amazing.
The Cubs have a ridiculous amount of YOUNG talent, the best manager (imo) in the game and a terrific front office. It’s a very exciting time to be a Cubs fan (which I’m not, I’m a Yankee fan...)
